13, 2011 Thursday @6:30pm “Communicating with your Significant Other.” Dr. William Parker of the Parker Hearing Institute in Torrance, CA holds professional licenses in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing. . Dr. Parker has a BA and MA from CSULB and Doctor of Philosophy in Hearing Science/Audiology, University of Florida. His background includes fellowships, several teaching appointments and currently teaches at Continuing Education for Hearing Aid Dispensers, State of California and Nevada. He has been Director of Audiology in San Francisco and Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, CA. He currently serves as President of the Parker Hearing and Speech Institute in Torrance, Ca. He is a Board Member, Officer and Owner of HearNet Audiology Network. Dr. Parker has published articles on hearing issues as well as a noted lecturer. Some topics that he addresses are: New Technology in Hearing Instruments, Improved ways to use a Telephone and Television; How to Communicate with your Spouse/Loved Ones; How to Help your Loved One who has Hearing Loss and Dementia; and Introduction to Hearing Loss and Help Available. |
